These mason jar cupcake holders are such an easy way to gift a single cupcake! You’ll be spreading sugar love to teachers, neighbors, friends, and more.
These are so simple that I feel kind of foolish giving a whole post to them. Yet, I know that so often what I assume others know, they don’t. So, I need to make sure that you have seen them, too.
Little mason jars make GREAT little carries for single cupcakes. I mean, how cute are these!! Soooooo cute!
Important…you have to get the wide mouth mason jars if you want to put full-size cupcakes in them.
When my kids were in elementary school, we would gift cupcakes from the local bakery to their teachers. It was such an inexpensive little gift but they LOVED them. And I appreciate not having to spend a ton of money or time to gift something special.

Individual Cupcake Holder
Ingredients
- 1 pint wide mouth mason jar
Instructions
- Flip the mason jar upside down.
- Open the jar and set the cupcake on the lid.
- Screw the jar onto the lid containing the cupcake inside.
- If you like, add a ribbon and note to the jar.

Well, you could freeze them for several weeks prior, if needed. Usually a couple of days is all you want to make ahead. And be sure to keep them in the fridge if they have a frosting with butter or milk in it.
