We don’t spend all of our time in the kitchen, do we. I sure don’t! My goal is to spend time with my family and friends in all sorts of ways. Sure, a lot of that time is with food. Humans sure do think about their bellies a lot, don’t they! But I want the rest of my home to be welcoming and inviting, too. Over the years I have become creative and savvy about decorating on a budget. One of my favorite resources is paint. Paint can transform almost anything into something pretty and usable. Today I have 25 different home decor items you can make for little cash. In some cases, pretty much free. First, let me show some of the paint crafts I have around my own home and then give you a list of some from friends of mine that I think are pretty terrific!
And, here are a list of great paint crafts that you should definitely go through and see if anything would make for a great weekend project for your home. I usually spend a weekend afternoon once a month or so making something sweet for my house and watching Food Network or HGTV with a glass of wine. Or old-man drink :).
