Driscoll’s® is helping to pay the NellieBellie bills. But these words are our own. Always and forever. Find our full disclosure here.
Our jobs are pretty cool, we admit. We get to make yummy food, fun crafts, and great projects to share with you all. And on really good days we get to attend events and talk and interact with you. Which is the best part of our job, by far!
This week we are counting our blessings a bit more because of an awesome new partnership with Driscoll’s® we had. You all love strawberries as much as we do, we know. Americans eat an average of 3.5 lbs of strawberries a year, per person! You love their little happy bodies with their bright red colors and sweet, delicious flavor. We know that you put them in smoothies, on cheesecake, and pop them into your mouths straight-up.
We do too.
Here are some tips to keep your strawberries delicious as long as possible:
- Wash your strawberries only before you eat them
- Keep their stems on!
- Store them in a place that’s cool and dry
- If you’re not using them right away, freeze them!
And so it was a dream to be able to help Driscoll’s spread a little strawberry love to the Minnesota media. We hand dipped and created adorable bunnies and chicks made out of strawberries and chocolate, packaged them up, and delivered them about Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Hmmm…any guesses what these turned into?
What did we make? Head to Driscoll’s and check it out. Supah cute, we do say!
For those of you about to head out and grab berries STOP! let us tell you why we love this company and are soooo loving our job, right now. Driscoll’s is family owned and operated for over 100 years.
