WI love: Erbert & Gerbert’s

This post was sponsored by Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop. All opinions are my own.

I recently headed to Erbert and Gerberts for the first time to try them out and, more specifically, to test their new Bold Between The Breads™ sandwiches.

First, it is important for you to know that Erbert and Gerbert’s is all about adventure and flavor innovation leading to a life of possibilities and… began in Eau Claire, WI. If you have been following along my story you know that my husband and I spent 15 years (he spent 34 years) in northern WI and have family & friends that live in Eau Claire.

Vegetarian friends, you will appreciate Erbert and Gerbert’s selection of plant based items including this Roasted Red Pepper Bánh Mì. This one had sweet roasted red peppers topped with cucumbers, jalapeño peppers, tomatoes, lettuce and barbecue sauce with cilantro mint aioli made from Hellmann’s® mayo and was my fave!

I noticed that rather than having the subs available as salads like so many sub shops do, Erbert and Gerbert’s has a large salad menu that looks ah-maz-ing. Srsly, I fully intend to head back to try a couple!

Vegetarian friends, I’m loving that Erbert and Gerbert’s makes plant-based items a priority and not a simple after thought. Totally awesome.

Now let’s talk about the meat stuff. Because if your family is anything like mine, you have family members looking for some MEAT and Out-Of-This-World Flavor.

I tried the BBQ Brisket Asian Fusion sandwich and it was…good! Like, really good. Like, I’ll be telling my hubby to try that one for sure. A southern take on an Asian classic. It has all natural hickory smoked beef brisket smothered in barbecue sauce, cucumbers, jalapeño peppers, tomatoes and lettuce with cilantro-mint aioli made from Hellmann’s® mayo. Its packed full of flavor.

Honestly, I really did love this place and am glad to have tried it. I’ll be looking for them near me as a great option for a quick bite that meets my long-list of dietary requirements AND my family’s wants.

I ended up bringing three sandwiches home for supper that I wanted Levi and Nate to try. And, another of those Roasted Red Pepper Bánh Mì for myself for tomorrow’s lunch.

Update: They scarfed those sandwiches. I recommended they warm them a bit but they were gone before they even gave it a thought. Both of them loved them and want to head to get another :).

If you have a Erbert and Gerbert’s local to you…go check them out! I know you will be pleasantly surprised.
