Quick & Easy “gotcha” Spaghetti & Meatballs

spaghetti and meatballs on a plate look just like the real thing but made with frosting, jam, and truffles. Great for April Fools Day!

This is a super fun idea for the kids on April Fool’s Day. Warning: It’s packed with alot of sugar! But, hey, they’ll get a kick out this fun “fake” spaghetti and meatballs!

I made this for my son Levi many years ago and he absolutely loved it! The look on his face when he realized it wasn’t REAL spaghetti and meatballs was priceless!

Why is it that our first instinct when we don’t recognize something is to be scared and disgusted? His face quickly changed when he realized he was eating frosting, jam, and chocolate. Seriously, what kid wouldn’t want a plate of those ingredients?
