Do y’all have a morning routine that is vital to your day? I do. I’m a 5am riser so I can get a yoga practice in with time to let the dogs out and feed them, get ready, meditate, look over my schedule, and have my morning coffee.
I ADORE making my coffee time special. It’s totally my thing. I grab my coffee and curl up on the couch with my latest business book while my pups curl up around me as tight as they can. Soooo good!

Did you know Mr. Coffee®️ has an At-Home Pour Over ??? And it is amazing! AND one in Amazon Prime Day (<—I’m totally geeking out about this this year)
What makes pour over special?
Pour over coffee pulls more flavor from the beans making it a better flavored coffee and my ultimate favorite when using special beans. It is a process meant to diligently bring out as much flavor as possible with the grind of the bean, weighing the coffee grounds, the careful measurement of water to bean ration, and often using filtered water.
Pour-over is all about the process.

The beauty of the Mr. Coffee®️ At-Home Pour Over is that it takes out the guess-work of a pour-over and makes it super simple.
Guys, it tells you how much coffee to add and when to add (and how much) water to add for exactly how much coffee you want to make.

It even has a kettle to heat the water to the perfect temperature while you are getting the grounds ready. (notice it telling me that it is heating the kettle and that I need to add water :)…LOVE the easy to read commands!)
Freaking genius.

The best part, it’s still a true pour-over. I still get to swirl the hot water around my beautiful coffee grounds exactly the way I like (it has to be swirled exactly the same way every time, in my opinion). But now I don’t have to wonder if there are enough grounds or if I’m using enough water.

Soooo handy! And sooooo magical. But wait…I have more good stuff.

In the morning I try to stay fairly quiet so the rest of the house can sleep and I really don’t want to take too long getting my coffee together. I just want to get to snuggling my pups.
I still want froth on my coffee, though. That coffee is soooo good, it deserves a bit of extra love.
Enter this cool hack…
How to froth milk without a frother or stovetop.
Grab a mason jar and add a bit of milk to it. Pop it into the microwave and heat for about 2 minutes for 3 tablespoons of milk, or so. You’ll have to learn what the time is for how much you want. Do NOT boil your milk. Just get it good and hot. Then cover it and shake it. For about 1 minute or until you have the froth you want (the more you shake, the more you’ll get). Pour it into your coffee!

My usual daily coffee recipe is:
3/4 cup of strong coffee
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon coconut sugar
3 tablespoons coconut milk heated and frothed
This combines yummy flavors with good tummy ingredients (coconut oil is so good for you!). Give it a try!

My “special” maple cappucino recipe:
This is my go-to recipe when I take a bit more time and on the weekends…
Maple Cappucino
1/4 cup espresso or super strong coffee (I have “good” coffee stashed for this one that isn’t the daily drinker)
1/2 cup full-fat milk (I have to use lactose free) heated and frothed
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
I gently mix the ingredients together and enjoy. Soooo good!

The Mr. Coffee®️ At-Home Pour Over is such a handy machine to help me have great coffee and still keep my morning routine moving along.

OMG- don’t heat that milk for 20 minutes!
