I’m sharing some great gluten free snacks with Goldfish® Puffs as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #GoldfishTales Find our full disclosure here.
It is sometimes stinking difficult to find gluten-free snack ideas that appeal to teenagers and children without breaking the bank or being difficult to make.
This snack mix is one of my go-to’s for movie and game nights. It’s easy to make, a bit out of the ordinary (which means kids love it more!) gluten-free, and not overly sugary. I admit that I usually use bagged pre-made popcorn to make this even faster. I realize that may be ridiculous and admit I should make my own. Feel free to do that if it makes sense for you. In my home, the ease and quickness of this snack is where the appeal lies. Open a couple bags, melt chocolate, and it’s all good and amazing. Happy kids + happy mom=happy day!
Step 1:
Pour Goldfish Puffs and popcorn on a lined cookie sheet (lining it first just makes it easier to clean, no worries if you don’t have the ability to line it).
Step 2:
Drizzle melted chocolate all over the Goldfish and popcorn. I like to use good quality dark chocolate because it is among the healthiest of chocolate choices. Use whatever you have on hand.
Step 3:
Sprinkle sea salt all over while the chocolate is still warm. (I often use pink sea salt because it’s so pretty in the mix and the kids think it’s fun.)
The use of bacon cheddar flavor Goldfish Puffs is a fun taste combo that everyone loves and the combo of the dark chocolate and sea salt with the popcorn and puffs feels grown-up and still fun. Teenagers and older children are all about the grown up yet fun combo.
