This is my personal favorite homemade pizza of all the homemade pizza recipes. I am allll about barbecue chicken pizza! Half of my family likes it and the other half..not so much. The best part is that the half that likes it are the ones paying the bills so, you know, Barbecue Chicken Pizza it is!

This pizza recipe is soooo uber fast and a great way to use up leftover chicken. Although I often cook up a pound of chicken simply for this recipe, it’s worth it. You can absolutely make up your own pizza crust (I do so quite often). Or, if you are in a hurry or not feeling like going through that extra effort simply pick up a pre-made crust or refrigerator dough. Honestly, they all work great and will not take away from the deliciousness of this pizza! I have also had great success with this recipe on Naan bread as personal sized pizzas which kids love!

Barbecue Chicken Pizza
A delicious and oh so easy homemade pizza featuring yummy barbecue chicken and Crystal Farms cheese!
- 1 pkg refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup prepared barbecue sauce
- 1 pound chicken, cooked and chopped
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 16oz pkg Crystal Farms Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 16oz pkg Crystal Farms Cheddar Cheese (for a total of 8oz)
Sprinkle a bit of cornmeal on the bottom of the pizza pan (optional)
Roll out the prepared crust.
Mix the barbecue sauce with the cooked chicken.
Spread the barbecue chicken on the prepared crust.
Top with the sliced onion.
Spread the cheese on top.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Bake according to the pizza dough instructions or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melty.
For a crispier crust pre-bake the crust according to the directions for 10 minutes prior to adding the toppings.
