4. The trick with lath is that unless you are lucky like me and get perfectly matched bundles…you will have to sort through it. Yes, it’s a pain. But…hello…isn’t the cost worth it?
5. After you have sorted out pieces that you are using set them in a “rough draft” of what you are going to want. It is recommended to stagger your pieces. Really, don’t ask why…just do it! (ha. that reminds me of my “Just Do Them” Boobie Shirt. Did you see it?) You really want to have a good idea of what problems might arise. I would hate for you to be 1/2 way done and find out you can’t finish. Bummer!
6. Once you have everything sorted start nailing it down. Go row by row to make sure it’s running straight and doesn’t get wonky. Also because, lath needs to be kind of “coaxed” into being nice and straight.
