Perhaps you aren’t as in love with mushrooms as I am, not many are. Maybe you are (fist pound). Maybe you like anything related to your slow-cooker. Maybe you are an appetizer freak (tell me, do you order appetizer instead of main meals at restaurants? Me too!). Or, perhaps you simply come to NellieBellie whenever you can to see what’s new (you are our very favorite of all the options, bar none!)
Whatever the reason you are here, I’m glad! I’m glad you will leave with a little nugget of a recipe that will make your life a bit easier and tastier.
These Teriyaki mushrooms take only three ingredients; butter, Tastefully Simple Honey Teriyaki sauce, mushrooms, and your slow cooker. They are a leave it and forget it recipe.
If you are fond of using your slow-cooker invest in slow-cooker liners. They save so much mess and clean-up! I didn’t use them here for photography sake. But, never do I use my slow-cooker without them!
Be sure to choose a high quality Teriyaki Sauce and mushrooms! With only a few ingredients… make them the best you can!
Now, my favorite way to eat these is as an appetizer on top of crackers and cheese.
- 2 pounds mushrooms I use baby bella
- 1 8 oz bottle Tastefully Simple Honey Teriyaki Sauce
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Place all ingredients in the slow-cooker.
- Cook for 6 hours in your slow-cooker. (4 hours is fine, too)
