Cranberry Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • 2 oz whiskey
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • ginger ale any carbonated water or clear soda will do nicely
  • ice
  • egg white optional. Only use pasteurized egg whites!

Instructions

  • Add the cranberry juice, whiskey, and lime juice to a shaker. Add egg white, if desired.
  • Fill the shaker with ice.
  • Shake for 2 minutes.
  • Pour into a lowball glass and top it off with ginger ale.
  • Serve with a swizzle stick of cranberries.

Notes

If you find this cocktail is too sour add a bit of simple syrup or even orange juice to help cut the tart.
