Glazed Hot Dogs and Rice

A glazed hot dog dipped with rice is VERY tasty. We’re not kidding, it’s a delicious recipe that kids and adults truly love!

Ingredients

  • 8 hot dogs sliced about ½ inch
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • Sliced green onions for serving
  • Sesame seeds for serving
  • 4 servings of rice cooked

Instructions

  • Add ½ tablespoon of sesame oil to a hot saute pan, add the sliced hot dogs.
  • Saute on medium-high heat until the hot dogs are nice and browned.
  • Add the garlic.
  • Saute the garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the remaining sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, and red pepper flakes. Stir.
  • Heat and taste. Add additional seasoning as desired.
  • Serve the hot dogs over rice with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
