- 1 pkg pre-made sugar cookie dough
Filling
- ½ cup corn syrup
- ¼ cups butter softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- yellow food coloring
Follow the directions on the package to bake the cookies just until done, be careful not to overbake.
Combine the filling ingredients, except the food coloring, until smooth. Add powdered sugar until well mixed.
Remove about ¼ - ½ cup of the filling and add the yellow food coloring and set aside. You want it to look the color of the center of the egg.
Scoop a bit of the white filling into the center of each cookie and spread it gently with a knife. Use a damp finger to gently press the frosting out to the edges. Add a dollop of the yellow filling into the center of the white and use adamp finger to shape it.
