Homemade Mocha Syrup -traditional

Ingredients

cup
unsweetened cocoa powder
1 ½
cups
STRONG brewed coffee
1
cup
white sugar or coconut sugar
1
teaspoon
vanilla
Instructions
Stir all ingredients together in a heavy, medium saucepan.
Heat on medium until boiling, stirring often.
Continue boiling gently whisking constantly until thickened (about 4 minutes).
Pour into a glass jar and cool.
Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Notes
Mix 2 tablespoons of syrup into 1 cup of strong coffee.
