Stir together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add the butter and honey.
With your fingers work quickly to work the butter into the flour mixture.
Form a well in the center of the flour mixture.
Add the buttermilk all at once.
Use a fork to stir the wet and dry ingredients together.Don't worry if the dough isn't perfectly "doughy" yet.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead about a dozen times.
Roll out to 1/2 an inch thick. Cut into biscuits or, if using for cobbler, form into a large round.
Brush with beaten egg or milk prior to baking.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes
