the BEST Homemade Chocolate Granola
A delicious and easy homemade chocolate granola. Not too sweet, a wee bit of salt, and hidden bits of soft chocolate make this granola wonderful for breakfast!

Servings 6 cups
- 4 cups oats
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup melted coconut oil
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup cocoa
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup coconut
Mix oats, nuts, sea salt, cocoa, and cinnamon.
Whisk syrup, oil, vanilla until well blended.
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir well.
Bake at 300 on a parchment lined baking sheet for 30 minutes.
Stir and sprinkle the coconut on top.
Return to the oven and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, wait about 10 minutes, and then stir in the chocolate chips. You want them to be a bit melty but not melt completely.
Let cool for 1-2 hours before storing in an air tight container.
