They really DO look fancy pants, don’t they! I love when happy accidents like that happen. Cause the truth is that these are one of my favorite little snacks. They are super easy, sweet, and just LOOK so dang great! I waver between crushed nuts or crushed dates as my favorite topping. Oh but wait…coconut! Sigh. What’s a girl to do?
All of them, of course.
And why not. No reason at all why you can’t eat every version you like all at the same time… every. single. day.
They are good for you. Not as in “not bad for you”. No, full on grow-hair-on-your-chest-and-lose-thigh-fat good for you. Hallelujah!

What I want you to see is how easy it is to simply roll the gooey yogurt covered strawberry in something soft and fine. YOU decide what that soft and fine ingredient is. Chopped coconut, finely chopped dates, shaved dark chocolate, crushed nuts, or whatever you choose.
P.S. Strawberries aren’t really seasonal right now in Minnesota. Maybe because as I write this it is -13 degrees (and 4pm!) and strawberries have this weird thing about liking to be warm. Strange. But then, nothing is really seasonal at those temps, are they? And a girl can’t go the whole MN winter without fruits and veggies. sigh. It’s really cold!
