Equipment

  • air fryer

Ingredients

Ingredients to air-fry

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup/honey
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable/ neutral flavored oil
  • 2 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Ingredients to add after air-frying

  • 2 tablespoon dried cranberries/ craisins
  • 2 tablespoon raisins
  • 2 tablespoon coconut chips
  • 2 tablespoon chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix maple syrup, vegetable oil, almond butter, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract to a paste.
  • Add rolled oats, chia seeds, and pumpkin seeds to the almond butter paste. Clumping of oats and pumpkin seeds is normal.
  • In an air-fryer basket, place a parchment paper on it base to prevent sticking of granola. Add granola to the basket and air-fry at 300*F for 20 minutes, mixing every 5 minutes.
  • Initially granola looks soggy when hot, it turns crispy on cooling. Once the granola is completely cooled, add the ingredients such as dried cranberries, raisins, coconut chips, and chocolate chips. Give a rough mix and store in an air-tight container.
  • Serve granola with milk as breakfast or as topping for yogurt, ice creams and puddings.
