Twinkie Tiramisu

An easy and tasty version of the classic dessert!

  • box of twinkies
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • tub of marscapone cheese
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 12 oz of cool-whip topping
  • 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup kahlua AND 1/4 cup for cheese mixture you can substitute strong coffee again, if you prefer


  • Cut the Twinkies lengthwise and lay them cream side up in an 8 by 8 size pan.
  • Mix the 1/2 cup coffee and 1/2 cup Kahlua.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of the coffee mixture slowly over the bottom layer of Twinkies.
  • Beat cream cheese, cheese, powdered sugar, 1/4 cup Kahlua and remaining coffee until creamy. Fold in 4oz of the Cool-whip.
  • Spread 1/2 cheese mixture over the sliced Twinkies.
  • Spread 1/2 the remaining Cool-whip over top.
  • Repeat the Twinkie layer.
  • Pour the remaining coffee mixture over the layer.
  • Spread additional cheese and Cool-whip layers.
  • Sprinkle cocoa on top, if you like.
  • Let sit in the fridge for several hours. The longer...the better.
