Maple Cinnamon Iced Tea

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 tablespoons real maple syrup
  • 2 whole nutmeg
  • 3 Lipton teabags-black unsweetened


  • Pour water into a small saucepan. Add the cinnamon sticks, maple syrup, and nutmeg.
  • Bring to a boil on high heat stirring often.
  • When boiling, remove from heat add the tea bags and steep for 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove bags, cinnamon sticks, and nutmeg.
  • Pour into pitcher and place in the fridge for several hours, or overnight.
  • Serve over ice.


Sometimes it is necessary to take a strainer or cheesecloth to strain the tea through.
