Homemade Mocha Syrup-sugar-free version

A sugar-free version of the traditional mocha syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup strong-brewed coffee
  • 1 cup Truvia baking blend
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into a medium, heavy saucepan on medium heat.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring often.
  • Allow to gently boil, whisking constantly until thickened (about 4 minutes).
  • Pour syrup into a jar and allow to cool.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

Put 2 tablespoons of syrup into 1 cup of strong coffee and stir.
