In this new apartment, with so many schedules, activities, paperwork, and paperwork needing to be organized a Message/Command center is extremely important. But when renting, a message center provides a bit of a challenge. Not being able to screw into the wall is tricky for backpack hooks, hanging bulletin boards, and more. Thankfully, 3M’s command hooks are kind of brilliant for this. If you rent…take a look at this solution!

For our Message Center I included:
- hooks for backpacks
- bulletin board for announcements and calendar
- file holders (1 for each kid)
- hook for keys
- hanging box for phones, wallets (did you recognize that Sponge Bob wallet?), etc…
- place to hang library book check-outs
- basket for library books and misc (on the floor)
- chalkboard for daily notes
Every thing for my message center was hung with various kinds of Command Hooks. There are many kinds in use here. Strong basics to hold the bulletin board, lighter hooks to hold the chalkboard, and extra strong hooks to hold backpacks.
If you rent and need to organize your home…try the Command Hooks! Seriously, I have them everywhere in our new apartment!
Heads up! I was not paid in any way for this post from 3M. Nor did I receive product. I just really like these Command Hooks. I just want you to know! My message center was made possible here in my rental apartment because of them. And, that is so cool!
