Today we are talking about simple steps to host a fabulous Game Time pizza party with pizza! A pizza party is a great way to enjoy Game Day with family and friends without breaking the bank OR breaking your back!

1. Buy a stack of pizzas.
Inexpensive and our favorites! Score!
2. Invite people.
No, I didn’t get the order of these steps backwards. Truly…you tell people you have a stack of pizzas needing eating and they will come in droves. You’ll be turning them away. And on top of that, you won’t feel the stress of having invited people for a party and having no idea what to feed them. Get the food first, then the people.
3. Make cute signs for the different kinds of pizza.
This is the best part! Have different kinds of pizza all labeled with cute little labels. Pizza never looked so chic! My labels are quick and easily made from Duck Tape and a clothespin. Fast! But they make the party that much more special.
You can use really any sort of tags; the idea is just to add one more element to the party. And, of course, to let people know what they’re eating.
4. Set a cute table full of pizza, chips, sweets, and drinks! Be sure to make it look fun!
Just use colorful napkins, plates, and party supplies. No need to go crazy…the pizza is the star, after all!
Tip: keep your dishes the same colors to automatically look awesome!
5. Let your guests eat all the pizza and treats they can hold! Keep those pizzas coming! Cut them into squares to stretch the pizza farther and let them taste all the different kinds. So fun!
6. Provide Football Bingo for those watching football.
This is a winner winner at our house! It encourages them to really watch the game, and makes the game a whole lot more fun for those that aren’t football enthusiasts. I’ve added a simple printable version that you can print (at the bottom of this post). Use stickers, pens, even pennies to “mark” your spot.
Tip: a prize is always a great option to keep the competition going!
7. Provide entertainment for those not into football.
Preferably, it would be outside so that the football watchers don’t get irritated with the distractions. We do sledding, fort building, and other winter fun! You can also have a separate room designated, or some sort of quiet fun activity in the same space.
8. End the perfect party with a cup of perfect hot cocoa!
Football Bingo Cards:
We use this bingo card as the “base” and then ask all the guests to write in additional things that should be looked for while watching the game. When all the squares are filled in we shuffle them up and pass them back out.
Of course, your version of the perfect pizza party may be different. But, I want to encourage you to keep it simple. Give yourself room to enjoy it, and not work the entire time. You just pop over to the store and grab your pizzas…done! That is why I’m all for pizza parties. Everyone loves pizza…and it’s fast, simple, and fun! They allow me to look like a superstar and still play and have fun myself!
