Individual Cupcake Holders: These are possibly the most creative, and easiest, way to gift wrap a cupcake, ornament, or something similar that we’ve ever seen! Seriously simple to do, but makes a great statement!
Gift Bags: Some people consider gift bags a “cop-out” when Christmas wrapping, but we tend to disagree. We think gift bags are a great choice for people who don’t have time to wrap presents well, and also for a whole host of gifts with interesting shapes. Also, if you make your own personalized gift bags, there’s absolutely no way anyone can think that you took the easier route! Sure, they are simple to create, but they don’t know that!
Gift Card Holders: Making your own gift card holders is a project for two types of people. Either you are aware of your carbon footprint and want to recycle as much as possible in your gifting, or you want to find some way to personalize an otherwise fairly impersonal gift. In either case, these toilet paper roll gift card holders are for you. If the idea of using toilet paper rolls makes you squeamish, you could also use paper towel rolls cut in half.
Cookie Tags: These are not strictly “gift wrapping”, but they are an adorable part of the process. Instead of feeling like you need to have stunning wrapping and bows, etc., get something really simple like brown paper. And then attach labelled sugar cookies to the outside of the gift. If you put the cookies into little baggies before attaching them, they are even still edible!
Ornament Tags: Maybe cookie tags are not for you, or take too much effort. You can also use mini ornaments as name tags on your gifts as a way to make simple wrapping into something truly unique. Put your gift in a simple gift box, then wrap it in a ribbon a few times and finish it off with these ornament gift tags. Super simple, super awesome.
