Let’s face it…most of us don’t have time for crafting. We are running around trying to get life done. But, we say that sometimes sometimes it’s good to stop and create something. Something small, nothing fancy but something YOU created. It feels good. Really really good. Maybe you are a baker, a cooker (is that a word?), maybe you love to knit, or paint? Great! Take a bit of time this weekend and CREATE. And then head to our Facebook page and tell us about your fall crafts. We want to know and see and brag and tell the world how talented our readers are. Because you ARE. No matter what skill level you are at. If you need some ideas here are some of our favorite fall craft ideas for your weekend crafting time. From here at NellieBellie and our friends around the web.
Be sure to check out our quick little project tutorial at the end of this post!

Haystack namecards (using a toilet paper tube!) from NellieBellie
We think this is a clever use for toilet paper tubes. Recycle in a fabulous way!
And last is a little project that hasn’t been on our site yet. It was created for ElizabethBanks.com and we thought we would give you a quick little peek at it. Because, it’s fantastic! These portable firestarters are made from egg cartons, quick-lighting charcoal, dryer lint, and cheap wax crayons. They make great portable firestarter’s for your campfire’s. Best part is that the whole thing can be thrown into the firepit and not a single thing is left! The lint starts on fire quickly, the wax and egg carton keep that fire going while the charcoal lights. A great little gift for your friends and family that love to camp!
To Do: Place a piece of quick-lighting charcoal into each “egg” holder. Add dryer lint and wax crayons around each piece of charcoal. Close the egg carton and wrap it in newspaper and twine or string. Easy!
Of course our CRAFT page is full of ideas you can do ALL year long. And oh my gosh… our Pinterest craft board is seriously drool worthy! We pin simple and gorgeous crafts. You are bound to find something GREAT to craft! Don’t forget to let us know how you got your CREATE on this weekend over on our Facebook page. We’ll be updating you all on our crafting too!
