Truly, none. Except…
I’m 37 years old and have been taken for at least a decade younger most of my adult life. I have been “in my twenties” since I was 18. My children take it well when I have to explain that yes, I do in fact, have a 17 year old and 12 year old. Yes, I am old enough. Yes, they are mine. No, I was not 12 when I became a mother.
I do credit my genetics for part of my good fortune. That seems good and fair. Yet, I know with certainty that life choices have been huge factors in my appearance and health of my skin.
Even today I can tell when I have gone a few weeks too long without sunscreen or drinking enough water. My skin turns dull, dry, and sallow and I remind myself to take care of it. I’m one of those all-natural people that believe in moderation, practical choices, and no-nonsense solutions, butt the same time, the right care and eating IS important.
