Using Revlon to let your personality shine!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Revlon for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you are of the female sort chances are you have a love/hate relationship with makeup. Maybe more love. Maybe more hate. Me, I LOVE makeup. I love what a powerful tool it is!! I love how it transforms, how it helps enhance personalities, and how it gives women confidence! And me…I love me women that are confident! I want to be their BFF’s!

I am not a makeup expert by any means. Not at all. But, I love to play. And I don’t look too bad, usually. When I was asked to join the Revlon Expression Experiment I was like.. Hello! Um…yes! You want me to try out makeup? No brainer…right!

My sister, daughter, and I had ourselves a great time trying new looks and experimenting!

Here are our eyemakeup “looks” eye makeup1 makeup2

Neither my sister or I use much bright eye makeup. So, it was fun to try Revlon’s Inspired palette and “jazz” things up!

And I think her (top 2 pics) and I (bottom…obviously) look pretty darn good!

We channeled our Vogue magazine on my daughter.
We used the fun yellow just on the outer corner of her eye for a fun…surprise!
She wore it all day…it must have been okay!

Now…lipstick!
I decided to try the red lips. Because, I love this look!
But, I did it a bit softer and more natural. And…I really liked it!
I channeled Reese Witherspoon for this look… makeup4 makeup5
(after I was told I would never achieve Reese Witherspoon’s look…disgusted)

But, I surely like the idea of keeping my makeup simple and adding red lipstick! It’s classy and quick…perfect combo! We had a ball…and actually, I’ve used the red lips many times since.

Go try out the Revlon Expressions Experiment and try out that look you’ve always been to scared to do!

A big thank-you to Revlon for encouraging women to put their personality front and center!
With makeup! lipstick, eye shadow, nail polish…great ways to let your personality shine!

Now that is something I can jump up and down for!

Go over to Revlon’s Facebook and join the Revlon Expression Experiment for yourself!
