I am calling this a study space because…well, I don’t really know WHAT to call it?!? This is my 14 year old’s space. We just put the finishing touches on it over the weekend and it’s ready to go for her freshman year. Ack…can you believe I’m that old? Sigh, I need a nap.
Anyways…because my kids do their charter school from home they need good-sized space to organize, spread out, and spend vast hours of the day in. Levi’s space is a giant counter space (you can see that HERE) with bright colors and fun patterns. But, Katie isn’t really into the monster patterns and primary colors. She likes twinkle lights, old books, and vintage. Thankfully…I have lot’s of that around this house!
Teen’s Study Space
It’s cute…isn’t it! Best of all…she wanted to do the desk finish herself. That’s my girl! And she did a great job…
Do you see Mr. Flamingo…he found a home!!
And that little basket right there in the foreground was from my first trip to HomeGoods…love that place! Anyways, you don’t have to be fancy pants or cost a lot of money or space to find your kids a great place for studying!

I have the same desk,I,m getting ready to redo.I had looked for new drawer pulls for two years. Now I,m going to use a gold cord with some kind of charm.I will be painting it red with a rub on black wax for the grooves. She did a great job .Does she hire out?LOL
Look at that Desk! She did a great job finishing that up! I love the space, it looks perfect and cozy for her!
What a great space! I’m glad mr. flamingo is no longer homeless!
