So, I’m a lucky contestant in this little contest called CWTS. But, I have this big thing called a business to run as well. My poor house. My poor kids. This is the sight that they’ve seen for the last week. Running a business from my laptop, at the kitchen counter, in between coats of paint. Makeup and hair happened once.
It took me a sad 184 pictures to finally get the winning shot for my paper pompom’s. I had variations of this one before I figured out to change the background and composition. Yup, slow learner am I. Or just a glutton for punishment.
Sure, the picture of me blowing snow at you (at the bottom of my posts) is all sweet-like. Seriously…that was staged. And the snow was fake. There were about 20 variations of the photo above. That stuff is sticky! And DO NOT get it in your eye! Just saying!
This project didn’t make it onto the blog. Why? Well…look at it. It’s a hot mess.
Or this one. Those kites have creepy eyes. I didn’t want to scare you.
Let’s be real…it’s hard to feel creative when this is the scene outside. Seriously…I want the pretty, fluffy snow gone!! Bring on the muddy mess!

Oh, lordy! I end up with dog-butt in half of my photos! LOVE the snow, once a year… thank goodness we don’t have it like that!
