Recently I joined along with Fancy Little Things and other great blogs
in a blog Pen pal exchange.
There was some discussion of the 80’s styles that need to stay in the 80’s.
In fact, that was a question exchanged and shared with our “pen pal’s”.
My Pen Pal was Holli. She has a fun blog called Holli’s Hoots and Hollers.
(don’t you just love that name)
We both agreed that the accessories from the 80’s that went in the hair…
Just say no!
The scrunchies, the banana clips, side ponies, mullets. Ack!

Yes I had a pen pal, and yes we have met … as a matter of fact she lived with my family every summer from the time we were 10 until we were 16 when she moved in and lived with us for a year or so … she is from Northern Ireland and thanks to Facebook after years & years we were able to reconnect as adults and both love every minute of it! Pen pals are great …
I always wished I had a penpal. And she was from another country…and we met in real life

I have an internet pen pal.
we met online while planning our weddings in 2005. She lives in England, I live in the states. I consider her one of my closest friends, but we’ve never met… I hope one day to go meet her! 
Last time I had a pen pal I was 12… he was from India and three years later he sent me a beautiful invitation to his wedding (in India, of course:)))
my pen pals typically consisted of friends i met at summer camp and we would exchange letters and small packages throughout the year and then meet up for another week of summer camp. i am still looking for 2 of my friends – but we probably all have married names now.. perhaps someday we’ll reconnect!! thank you for participating — it looks like you two had a great time!!
