In case you couldn’t tell already from my past recipes…
This house plays with food.
We don’t play with food in the bad manners kind of way.
We play with food in the…I want you to enjoy eating good things
so I am going to make this fun to eat… kind of way.
Isn’t that the best kind!
The Clare Crespo Cookbook must have been written with my house in mind.
It is full of ideas for serving veggies to your kids
in a new, healthy, and fun way.
Levi loved just looking at the pictures of the finished recipes,
giggling at some of the ideas.
Recently, Levi and I tried out one of the recipes.
After looking through the cookbook with him
we finally decided on the Hashbrains.
But, it was a hard choice.
He wanted to do the veggie rocket
and the hippo dip holder too.
A hippo holding dip?
What little kid wouldn’t want that?
But, he had the perfect costume for the Hashbrains…
Wa ha ha!!
See my evil scientist there?
He really got into character.
Let me tell you…he had fun with this!
The Hashbrains were made from one of the recipes
in the Clare Crespo Cookbook.
And Levi thinks it’s awesome!!
This was a very simple recipe
that was speedy fast!
It didn’t require anything fancy
and was made with healthy ingredients.
Which this mama loves!
Great part…everything is made from fresh vegetables
and yummy Country Crock.
And making veggies with Country Crock
makes them taste oh so good…so kids like them
and want to eat them!
Didn’t I tell you he got into character?
Too bad there is no sound…he even had the evil laugh going on.
Wa ha ha hee hee hee hmmmm.
We are going on a shopping trip to get more vegetables
and Country Crock
so we can make those rockets…and hippo!
What mom would turn down veggie shopping with their 9 year old?
Not this Mom!
