Are you ready for some football??

Imagine Faith Hill looking stunning…insert my face and voice. There we go. Just sit there like that for a few minutes. Wait… it isn’t Faith Hill that says that, is it? It’s some deep manly voice. Okay, scratch that…reverse it…take me out of Faith Hill’s body please.

Sigh.

What are we talking about today? Oh yes…football. Do you love football? I surely do. I love the outfits, the plays, the goal posts, the jumbo-trons, the fights, the tackles, the penalties, the umpires…the whole thing. I especially love eating and drinking during football. I love the social element. And the complete zoning out and lack of requirements from me. If football is on my family knows that I am out. Or eating football party food.

The Super Bowl is coming up and although neither of my teams the Packers or the Vikings are in the Super Bowl I will be watching. For sure. And eating. For sure. And drinking. Yep. And I want to bring you into the football menu that I use. As often as possible.

1. Nacho’s

Nacho’s are a staple on game day. Nate makes some yummy ones that make my Sunday just fabulous! Love that man. Love those nacho’s!

2. Wings

Chicken Wings are another must have. Nate hates them. Something about how much meat compared to how long it takes to eat them. It must be a man thing. Because Levi and I just gobble these up. Levi is not into football. At. all. Unless wings are around. Funny that…I make a batch of wings and Levi is snuggly and interested in football. eh, whatever works!

3. Guacamole

To offset all the calories I consume in soda and beer I have guacamole. I love it. AND….all those good for you ingredients must cancel out all the bad for you I just had…right? Guacamole doesn’t require a recipe, just blend up some avacado’s, tomatoes, onion, and garlic. Throw in some cilantro and you are all set! Yum!

Generally if you watch football with me you better be watching! Do NOT distract me from the game. If I miss something important? shew…don’t make it happen. But, I love this football Bingo my sister made! You have to watch the game closely to play and win. My kids learned all kinds of things about football from this game.

Okay, that’s all I got for activities. Because let’s face it…you are supposed to be watching the game! Maybe you can hope for a “wardrobe malfunction” for added entertainment value. But, that’s creepy. Entertaining, but creepy. How many of you even have any idea what I am talking about? I believe that moment in Super Bowl history is responsible for the 3 second delay we now have in live t.v. . Ha…random fact!
